Officials say a Hillsborough County school bus accident has occurred on Progress Blvd. in Riverview Friday afternoon. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue says the accident involved a Spoto High School bus and one other car. They say the driver of the car involved and one student were taken to the hospital. Five other students were evaluated for injuries at the scene. All students were over the age of 14. They say the injuries being treated on scene mostly consist of lower back injuries.

Jeffrey White, 33, arrested for leaving the scene, after a road-rage incident leads to him crashing his truck into a light pole near Tampa, and a YouTube viral video.

A Tampa woman's iPhone video captures a man tailgating her and crashing his truck after he cuts her off.

The video dubbed "instant karma" has garnered more than 800,000 hits and is making its way around the web.

It happened Monday afternoon on U.S. 41 just north of Gibsonton Drive.

The woman spoke to news media but asked that her name not be broadcast or made public. Instead, she is going by her YouTube username, Florida Driver.

"That's what you get, all on video buddy," you can hear her say while laughing in the video.

A woman died after a one-car crash in Tampa early Tuesday morning, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

HCSO deputies said the crash happened around 5:36 a.m. Desiree R. Cruz, 31, lost control of her 1997 Dodge Caravan going north on Falkenburg Road near Windhorst Road.

She hit an 8-inch median and the car flipped over on its roof about 200 feet north of the intersection on the east shoulder after striking the Tax Collector's sign.

Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene, according to HCSO. Deputies are investigating the crash.

Two teenage sisters were injured after a driver struck them early Tuesday morning. A Tampa Police spokesperson says Norma Velasquez-Cabrera, 15, and Victoria Velasquez-Cabrera, 14, just left their apartment in the Meridian Pointe complex and were walking to Middleton High School. As they tried to cross East Hillsborough Avenue, they were hit by a car at 7:15 a.m. Norma is critically injured, Davis said. Their mother rushed to the hospital to be with them.

A driver ran a red light at Columbus Drive and Nebraska Avenue intersection in Tampa and hit a school security officer's car, Tampa Police officers said. The driver didn't stop after the crash. School Security Officer Alejandro Claudio, 41, was going south on Nebraska Avenue when he was hit on the passenger's side by the suspect's 2003 silver Infinity SUV at the intersection with East Columbus Drive. The Infinity ran the red light and kept going after the hit. The security officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to Tampa General Hospital for observation.

Deputy Paul Rogers, Sheriff's volunteer William Nelson, suspended from duty, after their car loses control on a Tampa Executive Airport runway, and damages some antennas for the Instrument Landing System.

A deputy pilot with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has been suspended and an investigation is underway after a speeding Camaro barreled down a runway and crashed into airport antennas

A Hillsborough County volunteer deputy was with the pilot in the volunteer's car when it lost control on a Tampa Executive Airport runway and drove into the antennas of the Instrument Landing System on Saturday, according to a HCSO report.

The volunteer, William Nelson, was driving the car, his own personal 2013 Chevrolet Camaro.

Tampa Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident involving a pedestrian early Monday morning on North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.

The accident happened near West Cherry Street. Police said a pedestrian was hit and killed there. They have not released the pedestrian's name or what kind of vehicle was involved.

TPD officers continue to investigate.

Tampa Fire Rescue officials say two people were hurt in a two-car crash on Interstate 4 Thursday night. It happened near I-4 eastbound and North 22nd Street. Officials say one car, with a man and woman inside, was stopped on the side of the interstate with a flat tire. Investigators say a second car crashed in to the back of the stopped car, and one of the cars caught fire. Tampa Fire Rescue officials say one person in the stopped car was taken to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries. The second person in that car was not hurt.

Chase Kaleb Leveille, 25, killed after driving his car northbound on the southbound lanes of I-275 in Hillsborough County, and colliding with a truck driven by Jason D. Lullen, 47.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating another wrong-way crash on Interstate 275 in Tampa.

The crash that killed one person, identified as Chase Kaleb Leveille, 25, happened early Friday in the southbound lanes of I-275 near Bears Avenue.

Troopers say an older model Honda was going north in the southbound lanes when it crashed into an Enterprise rental truck. The driver of the car died in the collision.

The truck driver and his passenger escaped with minor injuries.

The interstate was closed in both directions for several hours.

One person airlifted to hospital in serious condition after dump truck rolls on top of vehicle on Highway 672 in Hillsborough County.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue teams responded to a car accident Thursday in which a dump truck carrying dirt rolled on top of a vehicle.

The accident happened at CR 39 and Highway 672

Officials say the male occupant became trapped in the vehicle and a heavy rescue unit was called in to assist. It took just over one hour to extricate the person and he was taken to a local trauma center via medical helicopter with serious injuries.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
