Honolulu police are investigating a critical pedestrian accident in Waianae.

The incident happened just before 7 a.m. Monday on Farrington Highway near Mill Street.

According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, a 36-year-old man was hit by a car and was dragged under the car for a couple of blocks. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police responded to an accident on Nehoa St. Around 9 p.m. Saturday night.

An SUV flipped onto its side.

Paramedics took a man to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

Nehoa street was closed between Keeaumoku and Makiki street but has since been reopened.

Honolulu police have reopened Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City after a fatal pedestrian crash.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning near the intersection of Kamehameha Highway and Pali Momi Street.

Police say a woman, later identified as Cherish Samson, 20, was trying to cross the street in an unmarked crosswalk when she was hit by a car.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.

It was raining at the time of the crash.

Police have reopened Salt Lake Boulevard after a single-car accident. The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. Friday. Police say they were forced to close the road due to downed lines after the car hit the pole. Hawaiian Electric officials say it has nothing to do with the power. Salt Lake Boulevard was closed between Maluna and Wanaka Streets while crews repaired the lines.

Two people were rushed to the hospital after an accident in Salt Lake.

The incident happened just after 10 p.m. Wednesday on Ala Lilikoi Street.

According to the Emergency Medical Services, a 23-year-old woman and a 3-year-old boy were taken to the hospital in serious conditions.

EMS officials say the boy was in a car seat when car overturned.

A 46-year-old man is dead after his pickup truck crashed into a tree in Paia, according to Maui police.

The incident happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Baldwin Beach Park.

Witnesses told police that the driver of the truck had initially crashed into a parked vehicle, then hit a cement barrier. The cement barrier broke off, at which time the driver accelerated onto the soccer field and crashed into a coconut tree inside Baldwin Beach Park.

Medics and Maui Fire Department personnel tried to resuscitate the man, however, he died at the scene.

Emergency crews are responding to the scene of an early morning accident on the H3 Freeway.

The incident happened just after 3 a.m. Monday near the Mokapu off ramp in the eastbound lanes.

Crews on the scene say it appears the truck hit the guard rail and overturned into the brush and the driver appeared to be uninjured.

No word if speed or alcohol played a factor in the crash.

A man was killed Monday night in a paragliding accident on Maui.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. on Haleakala Crater Road.

Fire crews say the 34-year-old man later identified as Paul MacDonald of Haiku, was dead when they arrived at the scene.

Maui police are investigating.

Honolulu police have closed all lanes of King Street following a critical pedestrian accident.

The incident happened just after 6 a.m. near Kopki Street in Kalihi.

According to police, both east and westbound lanes of King Street between Gulick Avenue and Mokauea Street are closed while the investigate.

According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, a woman in her 60s was transported to the hospital in critical condition where she later died.

A moped rider is in the hospital after a crash in Ewa Beach. It happened about 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning on Geiger Road near Essex Road. Honolulu police say the 26-year-old man was traveling east on Geiger Road when he lost control of his moped. He sustained head and internal injuries and was transported to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition. It is not known if speed or alcohol was involved in the crash. The man was not wearing a helmet.
