Skateboarder critically injured in San Tan Valley hit-and-run

Deputies were looking for a white SUV that should have right front-end damage, last seen going north on North Gantzel Road and the driver did not stop to help the victim. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the sheriff's office at 520-866-5111.

Arrest made in skateboarder's hit-and-run death

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said Joshua David Walton was booked into jail for leaving the scene of an accident involving death, a Class 3 felony.
The 18-year-old victim was riding the skateboard on North Gantzel Road just south of East Chandler Heights Road in San Tan Valley about 9:43 p.m.He suffered severe head trauma, and was flown to a Phoenix hospital in extremely critical condition.
