Two people are dead and three are in the hospital after a driver lost control of his car on Interstate 95 and slammed into a tree just north of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard Sunday night, Florida Highway Patrol reports.
The crash happened about 10:47 p.m. Jean Claude Denasty, 55, was behind the wheel of a 2009 Toyota Corolla when it crashed. His front seat passenger, Deada Denasty, 45, died at the scene.
Three passengers ages 50 to 66 were in the backseat. The driver and the three backseat passengers were all taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
One of those passengers, 41-year-old Jocelene Chery, died at the hospital, according to a report issued Monday morning by FHP. The report did not list the hometowns of those in the car.
