A 19-year-old Wittenberg University student was killed in a crash this morning, when the car he was driving went off of Lewis B. Moore Drive, flipped, and ejected him around 1 a.m.  The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Chase Gage of Columbus. His name has not been released. His passenger was also 19 and was wearing a seatbelt. He survived with only minor injuries. Police say alcohol was found in the vehicle, and the passenger was under the influence.  What every victim of a drunk ­driving accident needs to know: It is a sad fact that many injury and fatal accidents are caused by drunk or drugged drivers. Though I do believe he was drinking, they do not have the results of the tests out yet to say whether or not he was drunk driving and this is false reporting. Until you know that he was drunk, you cannot say this. This is considered libel. 

I second the previous comment; do not label this as a DUI until it is confirmed by law enforcement. It's libellous and frankly and insult until then. 

He was at a bar hourse before this happened, and Station had like a gaunlet event thing...he knew what he was doing. He ruined our graduation because all everyone was doing was talking about him. Don't drink and drive kids...that's it. And you won't go out like this. It's his fault honestly.
