Thursday morning in downtown, a Ford Explorer Sport Trac was northbound on Interstate 37 near East Houston Street when the man behind the wheel lost control, striking a concrete divider. The pickup's passenger, a 48-year-old woman, was thrown from the vehicle as it rolled, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
