1 teen dies, 3 others injured in Outgamie County rollover crash

APPLETON, Wis. '€” Authorities say one 16-year-old girl is dead and three other teen girls were injured in a rollover crash in Outgamie County. The crash happened Friday evening in the Town of Greenville. Outgamie Sheriff's Staff Sgt. Ryan Carpenter says in a news release that all of the teens were wearing their seat belts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

GREENVILLE, Wis '€“ A memorial for a 16-year-old girl who lost her life in a rollover crash, is growing as people stop to grieve and remember the young girl. The memorial has bouquets of flowers, teddy bears, notes of love and two white chairs, allowing friends and family to gather and honor Emily Nickel. People remembering the Hortonville High School Junior as someone who was always happy and loved to play basketball.

Cause of fatal teen crash in Outagamie County investigated

The Outagamie County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate a rollover crash that killed a 16-year-old girl and injured three other teens. Authorities said Tuesday alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash and all four girls were wearing seat belts. The driver lost control of the vehicle on a road in the Town of Greenville last Friday evening, causing it to flip on its roof. The girl who was killed is identified as Emily Nickel. The other three girls who were injured are also 16.
