“Upon arrival, it appeared that the supports of a concrete truck with a boom extension sunk into the mud, causing the extension to swing around and strike a worker at the scene,” Sergeant Joni Money said.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Eleazar Rivera Coronado, 42, of Alabaster, sustained blunt force injuries at a construction site when he was struck by a machine pouring a concrete foundation for a residence.
