Mesa FD: Woman killed in hit-and-run crash
A truck "T-boned" a small white car near Southern Avenue and Mesa Drive about 3 p.m. Monday, according to the Mesa Fire Department and the people in the truck fled.

"I'm very angry about what happened to my mom," said Anna Delgado, daughter of Maria Delgado, the woman killed in the hit-and-run crash. "All I really want is to find this guy because he took someone away from us that's never going to be able to come back."
A woman was riding as a passenger in a car near Southern Avenue and Mesa Drive when a truck struck the side of the vehicle hard. The woman died at the scene, and the driver of the car was taken to a trauma center for treatment. The people who were in the truck fled the scene, and are being searched for by a police helicopter. A pedestrian who was walking nearby was also hit and taken to a trauma center in unknown condition.
