Deadra Griffin, 60, killed and three people injured in broadside crash on El Camino Avenue in Carmichael

The driver and three passengers in the Volvo were transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Center, where Deadra Griffin, 60, the passenger in the front seat, died of her injuries. The driver suffered a fractured hip, while one passenger in the back seat suffered a fractured vertebrae and the other passenger complained of pain to his entire body, according to the CHP.
