The innocent driver died at the scene. That victim was identified only as a man in his mid to late 30s.

The vehicle exited the freeway at 5th Street in San Bernardino and drove through the red light at the intersection of 5th Street and the I-215 on-ramp, colliding with a Honda Civic that was travelling eastbound on 5th Street through the intersection. A male adult was driving the Honda Civic, and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
