Man injured in Mission hit-and-run was allegedly targeted by driver

Jose Luis Garcia, 24, of San Francisco, was arrested at his home and booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder and driving without a license, Esparza said.
At around 4:55am on Mission Street, the victim was collecting his bicycle from a rack when a car driven by Garcia hit him and fled the scene. It was later fouind out that Garcia and the victim knew eachother, and that the collision was likely an intentional assualt or attempted murder. The victim was critically injured, but as of now is expected to live.
