At least one person has died in a collision involving a truck and motorcycle on U.S. Highway 101 in Palo Alto this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A motorcyclist who died when he was run over by a truck Thursday morning in Palo Alto was identified as Milpitas resident Robert Dam, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.
