Rohnert Park motorcyclist suffers major injuries in Napa

A Rohnert Park man was seriously injured Sunday morning when he crashed his motorcycle near Lake Hennessey, Napa CHP Officer Anna Paulson said. The crash was reported just before 11:30 a.m. on Chiles Pope Valley Road, just north of Highway 128, she said. Robert Banks, 48, was riding a 2001 blue Yamaha south when his motorcycle missed a curve and traveled east off the road and into a hillside, she said. He suffered major injuries and was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, she said. Neither drugs, alcohol nor speed appear to be a factor, she said.
