San Jose: Hit-and-run driver kills pedestrian near Tully and King roads

Shortly after the collision, police broadcast an alert to be on the lookout for a burgundy or rust-colored Toyota with a cracked front windshield and a flat left-front tire. The deadly encounter was reported at 7:13 a.m. at Huran and Clarice drives, next to Welch Park and about two blocks northeast of the intersection of Tully and King roads.

There was kids you know waiting for buses, those kinds of things so it's quite a tragedy and very dangerous, very dangerous," San Jose Police Department Lt. "There's been a few times I've walked my son across the street and almost been hit a few times, just by impatience. In the video, you can see him walking across a driveway, but his face is blurred out as police requested.
