The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman as 37-year-old Jennifer Talavera.

37-year-old pedestrian Jennifer Talavera was hit and killed by a taxi early Tuesday morning on Monterey Road. According to police records, the woman’s death is the 42nd traffic-related fatality and the 16th pedestrian killed by a vehicle in the city this year.
