Man dies in east Ventura hit-and-run
The collision was reported at 3 a.m. and happened on Blackburn Road, near Highway 126.
Police said that when they arrived, they found a man's body in the road. They think he was a pedestrian.

There were initial reports that a vehicle fender was found nearby but so far police have not confirmed that and will say only that their investigation into the incident is continuing.
