Child Hurt Sunday in Miramar Hit And Run Crash as Police Search For Driver
According to officials, the incident took place shortly before 11:30 AM when the child was riding their bicycle near Tropicana Street and Desoto Drive. The van, which had damage to the right front hood, continued going east on Tropicana St. before turning north onto Desoto Dr. and eventually turning onto Pembroke Rd.

Miramar Police tell NBC 6 the owner of the van came forward Monday after police released a picture of the van. Investigators now say the owner has hired a lawyer and is no longer talking to detectives.
