Maui man dies after motorcycle crash in Wailuku

Pacheco-Carlos, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sunday morning 25-year-old Chevis Pacheco-Carlos of Pukalani died after a motorcycle crash on Kahekili Highway, Wailuku.  The crash occurred near Puuohala Road at approximately 1:47 a.m. The driver of the motorcycle was traveling south on Kahekili Highway, when he was unable to manage a curve in the roadway.  As a result he crossed the median and crashed into a guardrail on the opposite side of the road.
