According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix was southbound on Highway 281 and went left of the center line striking a 2011 Chevy pickup that was northbound. Officials say the pickup entered the east ditch and rolled at least two times.
18-year-old dies, 4 hurt in crash in Russell County
A passenger in the Grand Prix was transported to a Wichita hospital where he died Thursday evening. Troopers identified him as 18-year-old David Devereaux of Enid, Oklahoma. Reports state he was the only person involved who was not wearing a seatbelt.
