Donald Svita, 70, killed when struck by semi after missing a stop sign at the intersection of K-140 and K-156 in Ellsworth County, Kansas

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a passenger car was eastbound on K-140 in Ellsworth County and missed a stop sign. The car was struck at the intersection of K-156 by a southbound semi. The car’s driver, 70-year-old Donald Svita, of Pueblo, Colorado died on scene.
