Man hospitalized with burn injuries after motorcycle crash near Andover | The Wichita Eagle

A man in his 40s is in critical condition after a motorcycle wreck on U.S. 54 east of Andover, a Butler County emergency dispatcher said. The crash was first reported around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday between Indianola and Meadowlark streets, two to three miles east of Andover Road. The man received burn injuries in the crash, the dispatcher said. He was transported to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis’ burn unit in critical condition, the dispatcher said. Motorists are urged to avoid the area during the Wednesday evening commute. The Kansas Highway Patrol is working the case.
