Wisconsin woman killed in crash with semi in southwest Kansas
A Wisconsin woman was killed Monday afternoon when the pickup truck in which she was a passenger was struck by a semi-trailer that authorities said failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection about five miles south of Dodge City in Ford County.

Troopers said SUV passenger, 66-year-old Paula Kissner of Webster, Wisc., died at the hospital, while another passenger, 17-year-old-Amanda Petersen of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., was flown by medical helicopter to Via Christi St. Francis in critical condition.
Monday at 1:52 p.m. at the intersection of US-283 highway and Saddle Road, a westbound 2000 Peterbilt semi-trailer failed to stop at a stop sign at US-283 highway. It struck the passenger side of a 2011 Dodge Durango pickup that was northbound on US-283. The semi driver, 40-year-old Sergio Sorianogarcia of Imperial, California was taken to Western Plains Regional Hospital in Dodge City for treatment of his injuries.
