A little after 8 p.m. Sunday, the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office says 78-year-old Jimmie D. Smith, of San Bruno, Calif. was walking west across 135th Street West in the 4100 block south, when he was hit by a southbound 2008, Pontiac G6, driven by an 18-year-old man from Milton, Kan.
