UPDATE: Woman killed in southeast Wichita crash
It happened just after 4 p.m. near Mt. Vernon and Edgemoor. A witness says a tow truck was heading east on Mt. Vernon when it T-boned a Nissan passenger car that was driving north on Edgemoor. Police said the 56-year-old woman driving the Nissan died at the scene. Now investigators are working to reconstruct the crash to determine exactly what happened, if speed was a factor and who was at fault.
