Wed, 03/12/2014A snowmobiler died after he tried to jump a creek near Cooke City, Mont., and crashed.
Park County officials stated that the man crashed shortly after noon Thursday and that search and rescue members arrived within minutes. The man died at the scene after resuscitation efforts failed.

Sat, 02/22/2014A Montana man has died in an avalanche while riding his snowmobile on the Idaho-Montana border.
Authorities say a group of four men on snowmobiles triggered the avalanche about 1:15 p.m. Saturday while riding in the West Cabinet Range about 15 miles southwest of Troy, Mont.
