Woman dies in early-morning wreck in Kay County
Bridgett Alexis Coleman, 21, was pronounced dead at Ponca City Memorial Hospital after the Dodge pickup truck she was riding in was involved in an accident with a Chevrolet pickup, officials said.
A little after 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, a vehicle driven by Alexander Bailey, 21, failed to stop at a stop sign while traveling on US 60 at S. Street in Kay County, OK. A vehicle driven by Timothy Rutledge, 41, collided into the passenger side of Bailey's car. Bailey was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, but his passenger 21-year-old Bridgette Coleman, of Ponca City, died from her severe injuries from the car crash.
