Authorities say the family was stopped along the side of the interstate when the teen driver crashed into their vehicle, sending both vehicles off the roadway. Two people were pronounced dead on scene.

Authorities said a family of 12 from Arizona were in the van. A 50-year-old man and 11-year-old girl were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Justice of the Peace.
