John Mitchell killed, two others injured, after two car crash at intersection.

Police in Cedar Park are investigating a fatal crash.

Around noon on Monday. Jan. 13, police say they responded to a two-vehicle collision at FM 1431 (East Whitestone) and Arrow Point.

They say a black Ford was heading west on East Whitestone when the driver ran a red light. The driver hit a silver Dodge that was turning north onto Arrow Point.

The passenger in the Ford, John Mitchell, 64, was taken to St. David's Medical Center Round Rock where he later died.

The driver of the Dodge was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they are still investigating, and charges have not been filed at this time.
