Saturday, April 9, 2016Two dead after plane crash northeast of Taylor
When officers arrived on scene they discovered what they described as a small plane with two passengers.
Both of the passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.

DPS cannot confirm the number of people injured or dead at this time. DPS said the plane was an eight-passenger plane.

The fire was so dangerous that it took firefighters three hours to extinguish, Gravell said. The crash created a large hole in the ground where aviation fuel had pooled, he said, so firefighters were trying to avoid explosions.
