1 dead, 1 injured in crash early Wednesday on I-30 near old east Dallas
Officers responded to the fatal crash around 5 a.m. on eastbound I-30 near Carroll Avenue, according to NBC 5 (KXAS-TV). NBC 5 reported that the driver lost control of the car, which hit a pole and flipped several times, according to NBC 5.
At around 5:30 a.m., a car containing two men was eastbound on I-30 when it for some reason veered into a pole, which caused it to roll multiple times. The driver of the car was killed while the passenger was hospitalized in critical condition. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
