One killed in police chase, crash
The second suspect stole the man's phone and keys, got into his Nissan Pathfinder SUV and took off. About an hour later, police tried to pull the suspect over, but he took off at speeds up to 100 mph.
He eventually lost control and ran into a light pole near I-30 and Jim Miller. The vehicle burst into flames and the suspect died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The second suspect is still on the loose. The couple they targeted is said to be okay.
