Jasmine Hassan, 21, killed in hit-and-run pedestrian collision on McKinney Avenue in Dallas, Texas

Police say there was a verbal argument between the three, that turned into a physical altercation between Hassan and the male suspect. At some point Hassan leaned into the driver’s window of the suspect’s vehicle, and with part of her body still inside the car, the man accelerated. The action caused Hassan to fall and the suspect ran over her with the vehicle.

The suspect, described as a Latin male in his early 20’s, fled the scene westbound on McKinney Avenue.

Dallas police released a photograph of the suspect described as a young man in a white Chevy Camaro.

A detective confirmed the two cameras located where McKinney Avenue intersects with Fairmount Street and Boll Street weren’t working.

The suspect's car is believed to be between a 2009 and 2013 stock Camaro without a sunroof or visible damage.
