There, they said Orlando Hernandez was returning a shopping cart to the store and did not look for traffic when he was hit by a truck that had just pulled into the parking lot.

She said the only time she was apart from her son was when he went to return the shopping cart to the front door of the store. When the boy stepped back out into the parking lot, that's when Hernandez says she saw a truck headed for him.
