Three injured after semi, train collide in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH -- Three people were injured after a tractor trailer and train collided in Fort Worth. The crash took place just before 11 a.m. Monday at the intersection of West Jessamine Street and South Main Street, according to an incident report from the Fort Worth Fire Department. Three people suffered minor injuries, Matt Zavadsky with MedStar said. There is no word yet on what caused the collision.

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Injuries were reported after a a train crashed into an 18-wheeler in Fort Worth. A witness at the scene speculated that the  semi’s landing gear may have gotten stuck on the tracks. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash. The trucker was allegedly trying to cross the railroad tracks to get to an area to have his truck weighed. Unable to stop the engine hit the semi, cutting the trailer on the big rig in two.
