Grand Prairie wrong-way crash leaves three dead Friday morning

The accident occurred around 1 a.m. when a Ford truck was traveling the wrong direction on eastbound IH-30 near Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie police said.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.

Three people killed after wrong-way driver crash in Grand Prairie

Investigators are looking into how the wrong-way driver ended up driving westbound in the eastbound lanes. They are looking at surveillance cameras to see where the driver may have gotten onto I-30 the wrong way.
