State Highway 34 closed due to crash involving motorcycle

The crash was reported just before 5:30 p.m. and involved a truck and a motorcycle on State Highway 34 near County Road 143 just north of Kaufman. The motorcycle driver was taken by CareFlite ambulance to Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman, Texas, where a CareFlite medical helicopter is expected to transfer to a Dallas-area hospital. A wrecker has been requested for the motorcycle.
