4 North Texas High School Students Killed In Collin County Crash, 3 Others Injured

Police have not released the names of the victims, but say 2 teenaged boys and 2 teenaged girls were traveling in a pickup along Highway 78 when the truck hydroplaned, crossed the median and slammed into a passenger van traveling south.

The family of Jordon Kidd confirmed the 17-year-old is one of the victims. Kidd was the son of a captain with the Nevada Fire Department.

All 4 Students Killed In Lavon Crash Identified

Jordan Kidd and the other teens who perished were all students at Community High School. The school is in the Community Independent School District, which covers most of southeastern Collin County.
