The accident happened at around 5:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 84 about one mile east of Teague, Wilson said.
The investigating trooper’s report says Jackson, driver of a 2001 Mercury Sable, was driving east when he veered into the oncoming lane and his car collided head-on with a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Huffman, Wilson said.
The Turners were passengers in the Tahoe.
