The Waxahachie Daily Light reports Tuesday morning's wreck involves a vehicle from the Waxahachie Independent School District. The newspaper reports the school bus, which ended up on its side, carried nearly 20 children. Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene near Farm-to-Market 879.
Trooper: 12 children injured in Texas school bus crash
Twelve children were injured in a rollover accident Tuesday morning, according to a trooper at the scene. The bus rolled over on Highway 879 northeast of Waxahachie.

The trooper said one child had a broken arm, but there were no life-threatening injuries.
Emergency personnel have responded to a school bus rollover accident along a rural North Texas highway 25 miles south of Dallas. According to Trooper James Colunga, seven of the children were taken to Children's Medical Center of Dallas, and five others were taken to Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie.
Cedric Harrison said he was called to the scene by his daughter, who was on the bus when it rolled over.
"The bus just came around the curb and it just slipped and flipped over once," he said his daughter told him of the accident.
