A Roland man was killed after he lost control of his vehicle in a weather-related one-vehicle accident on Texas State Highway 90 on Saturday afternoon.

Jonathan Dalke was driving south on Texas State Highway 90 when he lost control of his vehicle on a turn and hydroplaned off the roadway, striking a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing his seatbelt, and had no passengers. Authorities say that the wet roads and the worn-down tires on Dalke's vehicle were a contributor to the accident.
