The rider, a man in his 20s, was traveling with three friends just after 3 a.m., when they decided to pull over on the shoulder to check out mechanical issues.
A car - possibly a maroon Honda sedan - plowed into the group, killing one of the men.

The driver failed to stop and offer aid to Hayn. The car was likely significantly damaged on front left side.
