Children OK after school bus accident
Children on a Southwest ISD school bus are alright after a minor accident in Southwest Bexar County on Monday afternoon. SWISD officials confirm that a pickup truck rear ended a school bus with children from McNair Middle School aboard on the 11200 block of Pearsall Road.
Truck rear-ends Southwest ISD school bus
The report came in just after 3:00 p.m. The accident happened in the 11200 block of Pearsall Road in south Bexar County. The bus belongs to Southwest Independent School District and was carrying children from McNair Junior High.
A school bus from McNair Middle School carrying 34 students was driving on Pearshall Road when the bus was rear-ended by a pickup truck. One student complained of neck pain and was taken home by parents. The rest of the students were taken home on a different school bus. The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital for an examination.
