Woman, 87, died in crash at 281/410
The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has identified Eunice Querner, 87, as the woman who died Thursday in a North Side crash.
Querner died at the scene of a four-car accident at about 2:30 p.m. on the interchange between U.S. 281 northbound and Loop 410 westbound.
Querner was a passenger in a Cadillac driven by a man, 59, authorities said. Another man driving a Chevrolet Suburban slammed into the Cadillac, which ricocheted into another car, which crashed into the fourth car, police said.
At least one other person was hospitalized as a result of the pileup, but no one else sustained life-threatening injuries.
No one else involved in the crash has been identified, but authorities said two of the other drivers seemed to be in their late 20s.
