Washington has 39 Superior Courts, one in each of Washington's 39 counties. Superior Courts are the trial courts of general jurisdiction in Washington. A Superior Court may consider all civil and criminal matters occurring within a county's boundary. The Superior Court also has exclusive jurisdiction over civil matters in which the amount in controversy is more than $75,000, felony cases, estate and probate matters, family law cases(including divorces and child custody hearings), and juvenile proceedings. A Vancouver woman was injured in a crash in Kalama on Monday night. Barbara Stonewall, 50, was driving a 2004 Honda Accord south on Interstate 5 about 9 p.m. when she lost control and struck a concrete barrier, according to Washington State Patrol.

A Battle Ground suffered minor injuries in three-vehicle fender bender on state Highway 503 this morning. Three pickups were driving south on the highway in Vancouver when one of the vehicles, a Toyota Tacoma pickup, crashed into a Ford Ranger pickup that had stopped abruptly.
