A man died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a van just before 9 a.m. Monday on Perrin Beitel Road on the Northeast Side. The man was riding a scooter-type motorcycle southbound on Perrin Beitel Road when a marked Global Restoration Services van headed northbound turned left in front of the motorcyclist, causing the two to collide, according to police. The motorcyclist was pinned under the van and dragged a short distance, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they did not expect charges or citations to be filed as a result of the crash.

Police have identified the woman who died in a crash early Friday near the San Pedro Avenue and Basse Road intersection as Senaida Delagarza, 43.

Delagarza was speeding southbound on San Pedro in her 2007 Nissan Sentra just after 1 a.m. when a 2006 Dodge Charger, driven by 35-year-old James Ybanez, pulled out of a private driveway, according to a police report. The Sentra crashed into the Charger and the Sentra's passenger side airbags deployed but the front airbags did not, according to police.

A New Braunfels woman died last week after she was hit by a car at FM 725 and Zipp Road in Guadalupe County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Denali Molina, 25, of New Braunfels was in the roadway at about 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 27 when she was hit by a 1992 Toyota Camry heading eastbound on Zipp Road, according to DPS. Molina was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead just after 1 a.m., according to DPS. The driver, Beverly Peña of New Braunfels, is not being charged, according to DPS.

The man run over by a woman who sped off after a police officer pulled her over Monday afternoon on the South Side has been identified as Jimmy Medrano, 49.

Medrano was pronounced dead after 4 p.m. on Hackberry Street, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's office. His death was caused by multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash, according to the medical examiner.

A female driver was killed just after 1 a.m. Friday in a crash at San Pedro Avenue and Basse Road, near Olmos Park. She was speeding while heading south on San Pedro in a Nissan Sentra, according to a spokeswoman for the San Antonio Police Department. An unidentified driver of a Dodge Charger pulled in front of the Sentra exiting a gas station at the corner of Basse and San Pedro.
