Fred Keith Reddick 90, was driving about 9:55 a.m. Thursday northbound on U.S. Highway 270 near Beaver. His car drove off the roadway and went back across the roadway into a ditch. The car hit a tree stump and flipped, troopers said. Reddick was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Troopers believe he may have suffered a medical issue. It was not reported whether or not Reddick was wearing a seat belt.

Rebecca Ford was driving about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday westbound on State Highway 3 in Coal County. A semitrailer driven by Perell Monday, 56, of Enid, went left of center and hit a pickup and horse trailer driven by Logan Reed, 64, of Coalgate, troopers said.

The semitrailer hit Ford's car on the westbound shoulder in an attempt to avoid the accident. Ford was pinned in the car for about 45 minutes and was taken to a hospital, where she died, troopers said.

Monday and Reed were not injured. Reed and Ford wore seat belts, while Monday did not, troopers said.

Norman police are investigating a single-vehicle injury collision. Officers say a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling west in the 2600 block of West Main Street about 1 a.m. Tuesday when it collided with a concrete barrier on the north side of the roadway at the intersection at North Interstate Drive East.

Investigators said the vehicle then left the roadway into the center median and rolled in a construction zone. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected, according to police.

A 43-year-old Oklahoma City man was killed in a collision in McClain County on Interstate 44 while trying to make an improper u-turn, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

The man's name has been withheld pending notification of relatives, the patrol reports.

The fatal collision occurred about 10:10 p.m. Monday in the westbound lanes of the interstate at mile marker 104.

Phillip Rankin 58, of Pryor, was driving about 3 p.m. Jan. 3 northbound on County Road 435 near Adair. Rankin's car failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by a pickup driven by Tristan Dilldine, 18, of Strang. Rankin's car then hit a wrecker driven by Michael Doane, 32, of Pryor, troopers said.

Rankin was pinned in his car for about 30 minutes. He and his passenger, Deloris Ward, 49, of Spavinaw, were taken to hospitals. Rankin died in the hospital about noon Thursday, troopers said.
