Trenton-NJEight children were hurt after police say a teen driver ran a stop sign in Egg Harbor Township.
A 17-year-old boy was driving a 2010 Acura TSX west on Zion Road shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Monday. At the same time, a 17-year-old girl was driving a Chevy Trailblazer south on Larch Avenue.
As she turned left onto Zion Road, the girl allegedly failed to yield at the stop sign and collided with the Acura.
Police say eight children were hurt in the crash. All of the victims were taken to local hospitals and are being treated for moderate injuries.

Cincinnati, OHA teenage driver is in custody after a chase and crash Monday afternoon.
Cincinnati police being chasing a stolen sport utility vehicle near the Norwood Lateral shortly after 1 p.m.
The chase was fairly low-speed, police said, rarely going over 40 mph.
The chase ended when the SUV crashed on Paddock Road just north of the Lateral. The driver fled on foot but was arrested a short distance away, police said.
The incident is still under investigation.

Washington, DCAuthorities said a 15-year old boy led state police on a nine-mile pursuit Sunday morning, ramming into two police cars before losing control of his vehicle and overturning on a busy stretch of Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County.
The incident closed several northbound lanes of 1-95 in Spotsylvania County, just past exit 126, police said.

St. Louis, MOOne person was killed, another hospitalized following a single vehicle accident in north St. Louis City.
Authorities say a teen driver was reportedly joy riding when he lost control on ice and crashed at North Euclid and Calvin Avenues at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Witnesses at the scene said the driver was traveling at a high-rate of speed before he lost control and struck the tree.
The 15-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The male teenage passenger was rushed to the hospital in critical, unstable condition.

Saturday, February 8, 2014Police say the Swartz Creek teen, 18, was driving south on the northbound lanes about 10:15 p.m. Feb. 9 when he crashed into an oncoming car, killing Bailey-Collins and injuring her 11-year-old son and her new husband. Bryan Collins, 28, was listed in fair condition while her 11-year-old son was in critical condition, police said. The Swartz Creek teen, who police believe got on the freeway at Hill Road, was treated for minor injuries, according to police. A Mundy Township Detective said the teen is in police custody.

Las Vegas, NVA Las Vegas woman who died in a three-car wreck Sunday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
A 17-year-old driver ran a red light and struck Nneka Geter-Easterling, 42, in her Mustang. The Mustang spun and collided with another car, according to police.
Geter-Easterling died on the scene, and two teenage occupants in the Mustang were transported to University Medical Center with severe injuries.
The drivers of the other cars were not injured.
This is the eighth traffic fatality in Las Vegas police’s jurisdiction in 2014.

Boston, MAPolice in Pittsfield, N.H., say four high school students in a pickup truck have been injured after the vehicle collided with a plow truck.
Police stated that it appears the plow truck was backing out into the road Friday when the accident happened.
One of the teens had to be pried form the pickup. All four were taken to Concord Hospital, but police said the injuries did not appear to be serious.
The plow truck driver was not injured.
Police said they’re still investigating the crash.

Portland, ORA 17-year-old boy was suffering life-threatening injuries after a car crashed into a tree on icy roads in Redland Tuesday night, police said.
Three people were in the car when it crashed at 15800 Redland Road just before 5:30 p.m., according to a spokesman for the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
The teen was taken to Oregon Health & Sciences University in a helicopter. Another person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Monday, February 3, 2014Nathaniel Blackwell was driving a pickup truck with three passengers on Crestview Road when he lost control of the vehicle and it left the road. Cory Edward Mathis, a 17-year-old passenger, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Nathaniel Blackwell and two other passengers, both 18, were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Blackwell was charged with reckless homicide and given a $20,000 personal recognizance bond in March 2015.

Saturday, February 1, 2014An 18-year-old Oakland University freshman from Macomb County died in a snowmobile crash this weekend.
Eric Pauli died Sunday in Higgins Lake, according to his uncle, Tom Schaffer of Shelby Township.
A press release from the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office said poor conditions and limited visibility appear to have been contributing factors in the crash. Several snowmobiles had been traveling together when Pauli was thrown from his snowmobile. He was taken to a Saginaw hospital, where he died of his injuries.
