Phoenix, AZTwo girls were taken to the hospital after they were injured Saturday evening in an ATV accident, police say.
A 12-year-old, later identified as Stephanie Quinonez, and 16-year-old, later identified as Shiely Quinonez, were riding an ATV near 36th and Minnezona avenues, said Sgt. Steve Martos, spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department.
The girls were trying to take a photo when the ATV they were riding on collided with a parked vehicle, Martos said.

Louisville, KYOne driver is dead and another driver is in critical condition after a head-on collision in Pleasure Ridge Park early Saturday morning.
According to police, just after 2:30 a.m., a 31-year-old man driving a SUV on the wrong side of the Greenbelt Highway hit another SUV driven by a 17-year-old woman, later identified as Elissa Greenwell, heading south near the intersection with Greenwood Road.
A spokeswoman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles by Louisville Metro EMS and the Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Department.

Boston, MAThe victims of a fatal crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham this week have been identified as Connecticut residents.
Police say 20-year-old William Barnett and 19-year-old Alyssa Grenier, both of Stafford Springs, Conn., died when their minivan was struck by a tractor-trailer hauling lumber just after 5 a.m. Wednesday on the eastbound side of the highway.
Barnett, the driver, and Grenier, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was hospitalized with injuries not considered life threatening.

Phoenix, AZA 19-year-old man is dead and a search is underway for the driver of a Chevy pickup in what witnesses described as a street racing collision involving a third vehicle.
Witnesses told Phoenix police an older model white 1964 or 1965 Chevy pickup truck was racing with the driver of a Nissan Sentra about 2:45 p.m. Monday.
"Witness accounts have these two vehicles racing on 16th Street from Broadway northbound, weaving in and out of traffic," said Phoenix Police.

Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXA crash in Lamar County early Sunday morning killed three teenagers and sent five others to hospitals.
The Department of Public Safety said the pickup carrying eight people had just crossed over the Pat Mayse Lake dam on Highway 906, north of Paris and just south of the Oklahoma border.
Troopers said the 2005 Chevrolet truck was speeding when it left the road, hit some trees and landed in a ditch. The male driver and two female passengers were killed. The were identified as:

Colbie Miller, 19, from Paris
Bailee Elizabeth Sims, 19, from Paris

Memphis, TNFriends are mourning the loss of 19-year-old Keleian Braden Sunday night, another possible victim of street racing gone terribly wrong.
It's happening in streets across the country, but far too often ends in tragedy. Brandon Roques says his 19-year-old brother Keleian Braden was a just spectator at a street race in Raleigh Saturday evening.
"He's down here almost every Saturday, just so happened this Saturday he just got killed," said Roques.

Portland, ORTaft High 7-12 senior Cayden Thomas Fitch, who recently was honored as an Eagle Scout and was bound for the U.S. Navy upon graduation, was killed Friday in a head-on traffic accident on Highway 22 about three miles west of Dallas.
According to Oregon State Police (OSP), Fitch, 18, was driving a 1995 Ford Ranger pickup with his passenger/father, Bryan Fitch, 43, an OSP trooper out of Newport Area Command who was off duty when the crash occurred.
Cayden Fitch was pronounced dead at the scene. His father was transported by ambulance to Salem Hospital with serious injuries.

New Orleans, LAA LaPlace teenager died in an ATV accident Friday night after he crashed into a parked all-terrain vehicle carrying a pair of youths who had trespassed onto private property north of River Road in Destrehan, authorities said.
The impact from the crash caused both the teenager, 15-year-old Trent Torres, and the ATV to be thrown into a wooded area, causing the fatal injuries.
Deputies found alcohol and about a dozen teenagers when they arrived at the property owned by BP, after getting a call around 11:49 p.m., said a spokesman for the St. Charles Sheriff's Department.

Houston, TXAn emotional gathering took place outside Memorial Hermann Hospital where little league baseball players trekked Friday to support one of their own.
Gabe Rojas is being treated for a badly broken leg. The 11-year-old and his best friend Jartis Soloman were both sent to the hospital after they were hit by a car on Wednesday.
“His spirits are high right now,” said David Rojas, Gabe’s father. “He’s a very strong kid. He’s fighting.”
The accident happened at the Rojas’ home while the two boys were playing basketball in the driveway.

New Orleans, LAA Franklinton woman riding an ATV died Wednesday after she disregarded a traffic signal and was struck by a car, State Police said. The crash occurred at the intersection of Louisiana highways 450 and 16, State Police said.
Cynamon A. Warden, 21, died of injuries at Interim LSU Hospital in New Orleans.
State Police said the collision happened around 12:55 p.m. Wednesday after Warden, who was driving the Kawasaki four-wheeler on Louisiana 450, disregarded a flashing stop sign and red signal light as she crossed Louisiana 16.
