Three people were injured after a rollover accident involving a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office vehicle in suburban West Palm Beach. The accident happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Kirk Road and Summit Boulevard. Police say three cars were involved in the crash, including a sheriff's office cruiser that ended up on its roof. Three patients were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be serious. The deputy driving the marked unit had a K9 which was not hurt.

A man in his 50s is in critical condition after he was struck by an SUV while riding his bicycle in Fort Pierce Thursday morning. The SUV involved in the crash did not stop. According to St. Lucie Fire Rescue, the man was riding his bike on 25th Street near Orange Avenue around 10:10 a.m. when he was hit. Fort Pierce Police officers are investigating the crash. There is no information on the driver of the vehicle or description of the SUV at this time.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of a deadly crash of a motorcycle trying to avoid hitting a garbage truck early Thursday morning in Mandarin. Police said a Waste Pro garbage truck was pulling out of the Village Green complex of townhouses at 6:35 a.m. when a motorcycle southbound on Old St. Augustine Road went down trying to avoid hitting the truck. The motorcyclist, 25-year-old Robert Bentley III, died at the scene of the crash.

Port St. Lucie Police are investigating a traffic crash that killed a 61-year-old woman Wednesday morning. Officers responded to the intersection of S.W. Hunnicut Avenue and S.W. Savona Boulevard just before 9 a.m. in response to a serious crash involving a 2004 Saturn Ion driven by Josephine Lopez, 61, of Port St. Lucie and a 2011 Toyota Prius driven by Shannon Patterson. Police say the initial investigation into the crash revealed that Lopez failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection, causing Patterson to collide with Lopez's vehicle.

Two people have died in a crash involving a motorcycle in Seminole County on Tuesday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash occurred at State Road 46 and State Road 415. A pickup truck was driving northbound on SR 415 when a spool of electrical wire in the truck's cargo area flew out and struck the motorcyclists, later identified as Helene Bouchard, 54, and Andre Grenier, 58, causing them to be ejected.

The motorcycle then ignited and the man and the woman on the motorcycle died on the scene, troopers said.

Three people were injured after a fiery crash on Sample Road at Military Trail in Pompano Beach Monday morning.

At least four cars were involved in the crash in the westbound lanes of Sample Road. Four patients, a woman and three men, were taken to Broward Health North and one of them was a trauma alert, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials said.

Officials said the impact sheared off the gas tank of a pickup truck and it caught fire.

After he was released from JFK Hospital with minor injuries from crashing his car into a home in Lake Worth, Albert Garcia-Cruz was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Monday.

Garcia-Cruz, 26, faces a moving traffic violation because he did not have a driver’s licence.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. Monday at a home off of Sixth Avenue South and South Street, where two people partner were sleeping. They were uninjured, but the foyer at the front of their home was destroyed.

One person, later identified as Leonard W. McGarity, 58, died in the plane crash this afternoon in the 2900 block of Greenbriar Boulevard. The plane is a single-engine experimental aircraft, said a Palm Beach County Fire Rescue spokesman Capt.

The crash happened around 12:55 p.m.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews and Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies are at the scene.

A University of Central Florida professor was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle crash in Brevard County, school officials said.

Dr. Bill Safranek, an assistant professor in UCF’s Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences, died in the crash, which occurred near State Road 520 and State Road 524 in Cocoa.

A woman identified as Wendymary Artiles, 22, of Apopka, also died in the crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. She was a passenger in the other vehicle.

A 58-year-old Rockledge woman was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a minivan and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Christina Wysong, 58, died in the crash, which happened around 10:35 a.m. on I-95 southbound near Palm Bay.

According to the FHP, the minivan crashed into the back of the semitrailer, which was disabled and parked on the shoulder of the interstate. It's not known why Wysong veered off the highway.
